Confidence doesn’t come naturally to everyone. However, exuding the right amount of confidence can land you your dream job, a business partnership or simply bolster your network.
While a “fake it until you make it” attitude may work for some, it can still be difficult for others to believe in themselves in nerve-wracking situations. To help, seven members of Business Journals Leadership Trust offered their best tips to boost your confidence during an important moment.
3. Know what you have to offer.
Remember that you have something to offer. Remind yourself of your accomplishments, your passions and your strengths, and convey that when presenting or meeting new people. Think about not only what you have to offer but also you want to accomplish in the setting.
