Aviva Ajmera, CEO and owner, SoLVE KC

Aviva is a one-of-a-kind marketing executive and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in strategy creation and implementation, product development, brand management, consumer marketing and more. She’s also an avid runner — she ran the Chicago marathon in 2012 and the Kansas City 100K Challenge in 2018. She has also completed 13 half marathons.

Aviva worked with international consulting firms for many years before she decided to start SoLVE KC to help Kansas City companies grow. Her firm offers strategic planning, integrated marketing, new product launches, organizational design, consumer-client and internal research and other services.

Aviva is an accredited angel investor and the board chair with the Women’s Capital Connection, Kansas City’s only female angel investing group.

Aviva’s parents immigrated from India; she was the first in her family to be born in the United States. She grew up in upstate New York but has made Kansas City her home for over two decades. Aviva is married with one daughter, three “bonus” children and three grandchildren.
