Aviva Ajmera honed her entrepreneurial skills at an unlikely place. For more than 14 years, she worked at Hallmark Cards, where she started as a summer intern and then moved into a leadership development program. “I had the opportunity to rotate around the company and I never had a job that existed before I got into that job,” says Ajmera. “I was always given a blank sheet of paper and told ‘go figure this out.’ I had a very entrepreneurial experience.”
